Yichien Su MS is a Speech and Language Pathologist passionate about neurogenetic disorders in children and adolescents. She has extended experience in treating feeding/swallowing deficits, motor speech disorders, and communication impairments. Yichien has specific trainings to remediate developmental challenges in autism, cerebral palsy, and verbal apraxia.
Training, Academic Affiliations and Professional Activities
Yichien has been working with individuals with speech and communication challenges for over 12 years. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Immunology from University College London (UCL) in Great Britain but after working as a volunteer with adults who struggle with communication after a stroke, she went on to pursue a Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from University College London.
Yichien has joined the NeuroCognitive Institute to integrate her expertise on neurocognitive treatments, offering clinical services for neurocognitive habilitation, feeding/swallowing, and speech-language evaluation and treatments.
