Clinical Summary
Dr. Rivera brings extensive experience working with severely mentally ill and forensic populations, complemented by a strong background in teaching, research, and program development across multiple clinical, forensic and academic settings. At NCBI, she is developing services for the Clinical Specialty Care Program (CSCP) and psychiatric IOPs across multiple states. These services treat patients experiencing their first psychiatric and psychotic episodes and support their families, aiming to help patients reach their highest level of functioning. Additionally, she conducts diagnostic intakes, differential exams and provides psychotherapy to patients.
