Functional Brain Mapping and Neuromodulation: In the Treatment of Alzheimer’s Disease

Thu, Mar 28, 2019 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM EDT

Brain mapping using electrical neuroimaging allows us to see the neurophysiological inside the brains of patients with Alzheimer’s Disease. Neuromodulation uses non-invasive techniques such as tDCS, tRNS and tACS to modulate these regions and cortical network abnormalities in order to resuscitate these regions and to enhance the cortex’s compensatory capacity.
