Kathryn Coker, Ed.D., LMHC is a Clinical Intake Coordinator at The NeuroCognitive and Behavioral Institute (NCBI). In this role, Dr. Coker conducts biopsychosocial assessments and neuropsychiatric examinations of patients, family members, caregivers, and other informants.

Prior to joining NCBI, Dr. Coker was the Clinical Director at H.E.A.D.S. at Plant City, Florida. In that position, she performed evaluations of both children and adults. Additionally, Dr. Coker provided oversight and guidance to more than 80 non-licensed clinicians. Her responsibilities also included managing the clinical operations and programs of the organization.

Training, Academic Affiliations and Professional Activities

Dr. Kathryn Coker has 30 years of experience in the mental health and psychology fields. She received her Master’s Degree in Counselor Education from the University of South Florida in 1994 and earned her Doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University in Sarasota. Dr. Coker has been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida since 2000 and obtained licensure as a Professional Counselor in New Jersey in 2023.

She holds numerous certifications including Certified Forensic Mental Health Evaluator since 2008, Certified Sex Offender Treatment Professional since 2016, Clinical Hypnosis Practitioner since 2017, Certified Child Custody Evaluator since 2009, Certified Forensic Behavior Analyst since 2016, and certification in Nutritional and Integrative Medicine for Mental Health Professionals since 2018. Dr. Coker specializes in providing therapy services to individuals, couples, and families. She resides in Wesley Chapel, Florida with her family.
