At NCI, our licensed Speech- Language Pathologists offer comprehensive speech and language evaluations using reliable and valid diagnostic assessment measures to identify the cause of each patient’s speech and language disorder. Our SLP therapists work on a team with other experts at NCI who specialize in the use of various neurodiagnostic techniques to further enhance accurate diagnosis to guide selection of the best treatment option for each patient.
Therapy
At NCI, we have SLP therapists specializing in pediatrics through geriatrics.
Pediatrics and Adolescents
Our SLP therapists treat a variety of voice, speech and language disorders such as articulation problems, receptive and expressive language disorders, as well as, functional communication impairment. Our therapist also specialized in treating learning disabilities such as dyslexia, dyscalculia and dysgraphia.
Many of our children’s language disorders are related to broader neurodevelopmental conditions including Autism, Down Syndrome, as well as, acquired and traumatic brain injuries. Our specialists, such as pediatric psychologist, are part of the treatment team to help each child achieve their therapeutic goals.
Speech Language assessments and treatments are reimbursed by most third-party healthcare insurance carriers. NCI participates in most healthcare plans including Medicare and Medicaid.
